Disabled Guests

Here at Mill Dam Guest House, we have thought about the needs of disabled guests.  We have a private disabled persons car parking space, which is located two metres away from our disabled persons access to the house.  Whether you are using crutches or a wheelchair or are able to get about unaided, there is plenty of room to manoeuvre into the property and down a short hallway to Room 1.

Room 1 has a larger doorway to accommodate wheelchair access and inside there is plenty of room to move around.  We can accommodate either double occupancy or single occupancy in this room, dependant on your requirements.

The en-suite in this room has been fully equipped to comply with a disabled persons' needs and has been approved by building regulations.  It contains a shower along with a wall mounted seat and includes all necessary grab rails  Grab rails are also located on the door and around the toilet area to assist.  As well as a disabled persons' shower there is also an abled persons' shower.  The floor is fully tiled with a non-slip surface and has a very subtle incline to allow water to drain away.
